SIPEF is committed to no deforestation. We believe in a landscape approach to new oil palm developments, guided by the methodology endorsed by the RSPO.
- No deforestation
SIPEF is committed to no deforestation. We believe in a landscape approach to new oil palm developments, guided by the methodology endorsed by the RSPO. We also recognise that High Carbon Stock (HCS) assessments are an important tool to achieve our commitment. We are following the toolkit of the HCS Approach (HCSA). All new projects are developed after integrated HCV-HCSA assessments.
- No new development on peat
- No Exploitation
SIPEF is committed to respecting the rights of indigenous people, local communities, and workers, and to maintain a safe and respectful workplace.
- Full traceability
SIPEF believes in the transparency of commodities supply chains. All commodities offered by SIPEF are traceable to their place of production (smallholders field or plantation).
This policy also applies to the scheme and associated smallholders delivering to our mills. We encourage and support independent smallholders to join our supply bases and become compliant with our RPP
