The Plantation Company, PT Tolan Tiga Indonesia (www.sipef.com) with its head office in Medan, North Sumatra, is part of the International SIPEF Group, a 100% RSPO certified palm oil producer invested in the Far East and Africa. The Company is looking for a highly motivated individual to assume the position of Regional Controller with lines of reporting directly to the Regional Director.
- The candidate must have excellent technical skills in Plantation operations, with strong emphasis on agronomy in general.
- As the Company has numerous Oil Palm plantations with a large workforce, it is important that the person has exceptional people management experience.
- It is expected that he would have at least 10 years’ direct experience in Plantation management, preferably in the South East Asian environment.
- The individual would have successfully completed college/university education, with preference given to agricultural subjects.
- The position would be based on one of the Company estates in Sumatra with operational responsibility for up to 11 different estates in the region.
- The candidate should have an enthusiastic approach to work with an innovative character and the willingness to adapt to change.
- The ability to communicate with Bahasa Indonesia speaking counterparts would be advantageous.
The Company is offering a generous salary and expat package, including medical insurance, travel and housing, etc. The position is available immediately, although subject to medical examination and Work Permit requirements.
